A typical day at camp will involve a morning of training and practices based around a specific skill or technique such as dribbling, finishing or passing. This is followed by an afternoon of small-sided matches and tournaments either side of a lunch break as well as a host of other fun football related activities.
WHO CAN ATTEND THE CAMP?
Holiday camps are open to all boys and girls of all abilities between the age of 4 – 12.
WHAT SHOULD MY CHILD WEAR/BRING TO THE CAMP?
We ask that all children are dressed in either a LionHeart Football playing kit or a sports training kit appropriate for the anticipated weather.
Children must bring trainers, astroturfs or football boots and shin pads. Shin pads are essential; your child may not be able to take part in some (or all) of the activities if they do not bring shin pads.
Due to the unpredictable nature of the weather, we recommend layers, so that your child can take off/put on extra layers if they get too hot or cold.
Children should bring a nut-free snack, packed lunch and plenty of fluids.
WHAT TIMES DO OUR CAMP DAYS RUN TO AND FROM?
Drop Off and Pick Up times will always remain the same, your child should be dropped off between 8:45am – 9:00am and you child should be picked up between 3:00pm – 3:15pm.
WHAT HAPPENS IF IT RAINS?
Unless it is pouring, we will continue to play outdoors. In the event of torrential rain, we have access to a large sports hall in which we will run indoor football activities and games.
